Joyful Journeys is an Amish family business. We care for our animals every day and bring them to people who want a gentle, hands-on farm experience.
Our farm
We are an Amish family. Our days follow the animals: feeding, hooves, harnessing and gentle handling. We began visiting events with our animals because people enjoy meeting them, and because children and seniors especially benefit from quiet time with animals.
What we do
- Petting zoo visits for birthdays, schools, churches and community events.
- Carriage rides for special occasions.
- Riding horses, ponies and miniature Highland cows for sale.
How we work
We keep it simple. You message us, we answer plainly, and you know what you are getting before you decide. We put the animals' comfort first, and we will say no to a plan that is not good for them.
Meet the owner
Joyful Journeys is led by our Amish owner, who cares for the animals and meets families at every visit. "God, people and animals are my passion."
Our logo carries Psalm 35:9: "And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation." It reflects why we do this work.
